How to care for pearls at home

Pearls are an ornament that can add nobility and sophistication to any outfit. However, in order to preserve this beauty for a long time, it is important to know exactly how to care for pearls, because they are very sensitive to a number of external factors: lack or excess of moisture, elevated temperatures, dust, excessively bright lighting, etc. If you do not take proper care of pearls, jewelry made from them will be short-lived, quickly lose their unique matte finish. radiance, scratches and other defects form on them, which can deprive such a jewel of a presentable appearance.

Some of the "home-made" cleaning compounds are harmful to pearls, as they contribute to the destruction of their mother-of-pearl layers.
