Tottenham have not had the best of results against Manchester United in their visits to Old Trafford in the Premier League era, and they will be aiming for only their third victory away at Old Trafford. That task will be made even harder with the absence of talisman, Harry Kane.
Both teams are level on points and Manchester United are only better with a superior goal difference. Both of them will be hoping to close the gap on early flyers, Manchester City who they trail by five points.
Spurs are coming are the back of an impressive 4-1 victory against Liverpool and United will be hoping for a better result after a 2-1 defeat at lowly Huddersfield.

Manchester United injury problems in midfield persists with Paul Pogba, Maroune Fellaini, and Michael Carrick still out of this fixture. Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford are expected to shake off knocks picked on during the EFL cup midweek victory vs Swansea and are in contention for this one. Centre back paring of Phil Jones and Eric Baily are expected back, Jones walked off at the Huddersfield and Baily has been missing for weeks.
Tottenham will be missing their talisman and leader Harry Kane after the England international failed to shake off his hamstring injury picked up at Wembly during the victory against Liverpool.
Moussa Dembele resumed training this week and might be in contention for this one. Danny Rose will be hoping to make the starting berth for this one after chalking up some minutes against West Ham during The EFL cup defeat. The London outfit will still be missing Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela.
