Hello guys. The 352ng team met up with one of its partners – Jersey Nation NG  and had a chat with the Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Nation NG, Funbi Adekunle. Here are the excerpts of the interview. 

 


 

352: Jersey Nation is 3 years plus now, how do you feel?

Jersey Nation: I feel really good, a business that started in a dormitory in Covenant University is now delivering products worldwide. It feels good.

352: How well do you know the business?

Jersey Nation: On a scale of 1-10, I’d say 9 and that’s because no one man knows everything but God *laughs. A lot to be honest.

352: How do you cope with handling your career and Jersey Nation?

Jersey Nation: It’s been challenging, but we thank God.

352: who are your targets? What is the focus of the business?

Jersey Nation: Focus on Elite football fans. Jersey Nation is for the Fans.

 

352: How about your competitors?

Jersey Nation: No, not any I know of. Every competition is a positive vibe.

352: How has the journey been so far?

Jersey Nation: It’s been challenging, but we thank God.

352: You are hailed as a philanthropist in many quarters. How true is that?

Jersey Nation: *Laughs. Maybe, Maybe not. People say a lot of things.

352: How is business moving now?

Jersey Nation: The business is growing. When we start retailing 10,000 Jerseys per season. Expect to see us on billboards and fully e-commerce.

352: On a scale of 1 -10, how lucky are you?

Jersey Nation: I’d like to admit the fact that I am very lucky. Everybody should pray for a bit of luck in business.

352: Is Jersey Nation owned solely by you?

Jersey Nation: Yes. Although I have 2 or 3 people doing some running around apart from that it’s solely run by me.

352: Finally, a word to young entrepreneurs?

Jersey Nation: Be relentless and always surround yourself with people that believe in you.
